Powered by one of the most successful slates of preschool programming across all TV, launch to date Disney Junior surges over year-ago averages by double-digit percent margins among all preschoolers: +38% among Kids 2-5 (447,000 vs. 325,000), +48% among Boys 2-5 (245,000 vs. 165,000) and +26% among Girls 2-5 (201,000 vs. 159,000).

The most dominant TV series since its February 14 debut, Saturday’s “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” (4/9/11) hit series highs in Total Viewers (2.9 million) and Women 18-49 (632,000/1.0 rating), and delivered its second-best telecast to date in Kids 2-5 (1.1 million/6.8 rating) and Boys 2-5 (666,000/7.7 rating), behind 2/23/11, ranking as the week’s No. 1 TV telecast in the preschool demos.

Also impressive, “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” is the most co-viewed series among all Disney Junior and Nick preschool block series, with 47% of Moms watching with their preschooler.

  • Launch to date, Jake and the Never Land Piratesis TV’s No. 1 series among Kids 2-5 (857,000/5.1 rating) and Boys 2-5 (509,000/5.9 rating), and is pacing as Disney Channel’s No. 1 preschool series of all time among Total Viewers (2.1 million), Kids 2-5, Boys 2-5 and Women 18-49 through its first 15 episodes.
  • Jake and the Never Land Piratesaccounts for TV’s Top 3 preschool telecasts since its launch among Boys 2-5, and 7 of the Top 10 overall.
