Disney Junior: Highlights:
In its second week on air, Disney Junior again posted Disney Channel’s best weekly preschool ratings ever in the daypart among Kids 2-5 (495,000/2.9 rating) and Boys 2-5 (266,000/3.1 rating), and also hit new weekly highs among Girls 2-5 (229,000/2.8 rating). Showing momentum, Disney Junior delivered both week-to-week and year-to-year growth across all key demos.

Jake and the Never Land Piratesranked as February’s No. 1 TV series among Kids 2-5 (982,000/5.8 rating) and Boys 2-5 (576,000/6.7 rating). In fact, mid-week airings on Wednesday, February 23 and Tuesday, February 22 ranked as the month’s Top 2 TV preschool telecasts among Boys 2-5, with the series accounting for 6 of the Top 8 preschool telecasts this month in the demo.

Through its first 2 weeks, Disney Junior exceeds year-ago averages by huge double-digit percent margins across the board: +45% in Kids 2-5 (484,000 vs. 333,000), +54% in Boys 2-5 (264,000 vs. 171,000), +37% in Girls 2-5 (220,000 vs. 161,000) and +19% in Women 18-49 (259,000 vs. 218,000).

Versus its launch week last week, Disney Junior delivered growth across all key demos, including by 4% in Kids 2-5 (495,000 vs. 474,000) and by 6% in Women 18-49 (267,000 vs. 252,000).

  • During the week of February 21, “Jake and the Never Land Pirateshit a series high on Wednesday, 2/23, standing as the week’s No. 1 preschool TV telecast among Kids 2-5 (1.17 million/6.9 rating), and the No. 1 TV telecast overall among Boys 2-5 (749,000/8.7 rating).

  • To date, “Jake and the Never Land Piratesexceeds year-ago time period averages across the board, including by 40% in Total Viewers (2.33 million vs. 1.67 million), by 51% in Kids 2-5 (982,000 vs. 649,000) and by 49% in Women 18-49 (456,000 vs. 306,000).
