Storm Hawks will soar once more on Disney XD

Disney XD has picked up all 52 episodes for 2011

Vancouver, Canada (January 25, 2011) — Storm Hawks will soon be flying high in the U.S. once again, as the series preps for take-off early this year on Disney XD! The channel has picked up all 52 episodes of Nerd Corps Entertainment’s original comedy/adventure series, which follows the high-flying adventures of five teens on flying transforming motorcycles, as they battle some of the nastiest villains ever to hit the skies.

“Disney XD understands that boys want a great mix of comedy and adventure, and we believe Storm Hawks will deliver that for them,” says Nerd Corps El Presidente Ken Faier.

Storm Hawks is set in a fantastical world where squadrons of high-flying Sky Knights battle to protect their home terras. No squad was more legendary than the Storm Hawks—but that was before the dark forces of Cyclonia put them out of commission. Now, five mismatched teens and their strange, furry sidekick have taken their quest, their gear and their name—and will send anyone who dares try and clip their wings into a serious tailspin!

Launched in 2007 with 52 x half hour episodes of high-end 3-D animation, the series continues to appeal to boys 6 to 11 around the world. Storm Hawks was created by Asaph Fipke, Nerd Corps’ CEO and founder, and was picked up in more than 150 territories, including Cartoon Network in the U.S., U.K., France, Eastern Europe and Latin America, GMTV in the U.K., YTV and VRAK in Canada and terrestrial broadcasters France 3 and RTL II (Germany).
