Airing the week’s Top 6 TV telecasts, including “The Suite Life on Deck’s” 3-part weekend ‘Twister’ bonanza, the No. 1 telecast ever of “Good Luck Charlie” and the series finale of “Hannah Montana,” Disney Channel ranked as TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day for the 7th consecutive week among Tweens 9-14 (543,000/2.2 rating), outperforming No. 2 Nickelodeon by a significant 11% (490,000/2.0 rating).
In Prime, this week stood as Disney Channel’s most-watched week in nearly 17 months among Kids 6-11 (1.33 million/5.4 rating) and in almost 6 months among Total Viewers (3.07 million) and Tweens 9-14 (1.04 million/4.3 rating) — since weeks of 8/24/09 and 8/30/10, respectively. The channel’s streak as cable’s No. 1 network now stands at 298 consecutive weeks among Kids 6-11, while ranking No. 1 for the 295th time in the previous 298 weeks among Tweens 9-14.
In Total Viewers, Disney Channel owned 4 of cable’s Top 5 scripted telecasts with “The Suite Life on Deck” (7.11 million, Sun., 8:00 – 8:30 p.m.), “Good Luck Charlie” (6.66 million, Sun. 8:30 – 9:00 p.m.), “Hannah Montana Forever” (6.18 million, Sun., 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.) and “The Suite Life on Deck” (5.24 million, Sat., 8:00 – 8:30 p.m.).
- Sunday’s all-new “Good Luck Charlie” delivered series highs across the board, including Total Viewers (6.66 million), Kids 6-11 (2.77 million/11.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (2.50 million/10.3 rating).
- “The Suite Life on Deck’s” 3-part weekend-long ‘Twister’ programming extravaganza (Fri. – Sun., 8:00 – 8:30 p.m.) garnered impressive ratings, ranking as the No. 1 cable/TV telecast each day and delivering considerable double-digit percent growth throughout the event. In fact, Sunday’s part 3 became the series’ most-watched telecast of all time in Total Viewers, and its second-most-watched telecast ever in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14.
- Kicking off the event, Friday’s part 1, featuring NBA players Dwight Howard, Kevin Love, Deron Williams, was cable’s No. 1 telecast of the day in Total Viewers (4.47 million) and TV’s No. 1 telecast among Kids 6-11 (2.15 million/8.7 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.87 million/7.7 rating).
- Saturday’s part 2 delivered solid gains over part 1, ranking as the day’s No. 1 cable telecast in Total Viewers (5.24 million), and TV’s No. 1 telecast among Kids 6-11 (2.28 million/9.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (2.02 million/8.3 rating).
- Sunday’s part 3 stood as the series’ No. 1 telecast of all time in Total Viewers (7.11 million) and its No. 2 telecast ever in Kids 6-11 (2.86 million/11.6 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (2.59 million/10.6 rating).
- Ratings grew by significant double-digit percentages over the three nights, with part 3 out-performing part 1 by 59% in Total Viewers (4.47 million to 7.11 million), by 33% in Kids 6-11 (2.15 million to 2.86 million) and by 39% in Tweens 9-14 (1.87 million to 2.59 million).
- Disney Channel delivered the week’s Top 8 TV telecasts among Kids 6-11:

- For the 15th time in the previous 16 weeks, a “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” (Sat., 8:30 – 8:55 a.m.) telecast was the week’s No. 1 weekend preschool TV telecast among Kids 2-5 (774,000/4.6 rating).
