2010 Cable Ratings: Most Watched Shows and Top Network Gains

With 2010 now over, TVbytheNumbers.com has posted information about the most watched cable shows and the top cable network gains in primetime and total day for the year (Note: A Nielsen year is not equal to the calendar year, as 2010 is considered 12/28/2009 – 12/26/2010).

The most watched, non-sports, cable TV programs of the year include:

1. iCarly “iSaved Your Life” (1/18/2010) – 12.383 million
7. iCarly “iGot A Hot Room” (7/30/2010) – 9.074 million
8. Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (9/3/2010) – 9.063 million
16. FRED: The Movie (9/18/2010) – 8.650 million
23. iCarly “iPsycho” (6/4/2010) – 8.293 million

NOTE:  These ratings are Live+7, meaning live viewing plus seven days worth of DVR playback.  Normally, weekly cable ratings are reported for Live+SD (live plus same day DVR playback up to 3am).
