May 18, 2010 | Sunday’s new episode of Good Luck Charlie on Disney Channel scored 3.7 million viewers and a 4.9 kids 2-11 rating. Repeats of iCarly and Big Time Rush on Nickelodeon did well. iCarly scored 3.1 million viewers and a 4.1 kids 2-11 demo. Big Time Rush scored 2.6 million viewers and a 3.6 kids 2-11 demo. Only Nickelodeon can repeat so well.

May 18, 2010 | Disney Channel was TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day for the 3rd straight week in Tweens 9-14 (464,000/1.9 rating), and ranked No. 1 in Prime in Kids 6-11 (1.0 million/4.1 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (832,000/3.4 rating). In Prime, this week marked the net’s 263rd consecutive win in Kids 6-11, and its 259th victory out of 260 weeks in Tweens 9-14.

May 18, 2010 | For the sixth straight week, Cartoon Network enjoyed solid double-digit ratings and delivery gains—ranging between 12%-19%—across all kids demos in prime time. Compared to the same time period in 2009, average kids 6-11 prime time delivery (482,000) grew by 13% and ratings (2.0) grew by 18%; kids 2-11 prime time delivery (718,000) grew by 19% and ratings (1.7) by 13%; and kids 9-14 prime time delivery (361,000) grew by 12% and ratings (1.5) by 15%.
- Friday 5/14 Cable Ratings: Disney Channel Premieres Dominate, “Generator Rex” Improves on “Ben 10″
May 17, 2010 | Disney Channel dominated the ratings for Friday night. Disney had new episodes of The Suite Life on Deck, Wizards of Waverly Place and Phineas and Ferb. All three series posted over 3 million viewers and over 4.0 rating in the kids 2-11 demo. On Cartoon Network, a new episode of Generator Rex posted gains over lead-in Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, which was also new. Travis Yanan also included a repeat of VICTORiOUS in his report, which was a repeat at 8pm and posted 2.7 million viewers and 3.8 kids 2-11 demo. That’s pretty good for a repeat.

- Saban Brings “Power Rangers” Franchise to Nickelodeon (Press Release)
May 13, 2010 | Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids, and SCG Power Rangers LLC, an affiliate of Saban Brands, have partnered to make Nick the U.S. television platform for Power Rangers, the long-running kids’ TV phenomenon now heading into its 18th television season. The partnership marks the return of the global franchise to its original developer, Haim Saban, who developed and produced the original “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” series in 1993.
- The Hub Announces Two Additions to Their Senior Staff
May 13, 2010 | Margaret Loesch, President and CEO for The Hub, today announced key executive appointments for the children's television network which is scheduled to launch October 10, 2010. Mark J. Kern joins The Hub as Senior Vice President, Communications and John P. Roberts as Senior Vice President, Digital Content & Cross-platform Entertainment. Both executives will report directly to Loesch and their positions represent the completion of the senior staff for the Discovery-Hasbro joint venture.
