June 8, 2010 | Production has begun on "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure," a Disney Channel Original Movie directed by Emmy Award-winning director Michael Lembeck ("Tooth Fairy," "Santa Clause 2" and "Santa Clause 3."). Ashley Tisdale stars as the scene-stealing drama queen Sharpay Evans in the role she made so popular in the "High School Musical" TV movies and feature film. "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure" is scheduled to premiere in 2011 on Disney Channel.

June 8, 2010 | Cartoon Network’s new hit animated series ADVENTURE TIME (Monday, 8 p.m.) once again posted double-digit ratings and delivery gains among all key kid demos. Compared to the same time period in 2009, kids 6-11 delivery (613,000) grew by 36% and ratings (2.5) by 29%. Kids 2-11 delivery (862,000) grew by 25% and ratings (2.1) by 24%, and kids 9-14 delivery (426,000) grew by 27% and ratings (1.7) grew by 21%. Boys demos also showed significant gains with boys 6-11 delivery (431,000) up by 21%, boys 2-11 delivery (570,000) up by 12% and boys 9-14 delivery (319,000) up by 13%.

June 7, 2010 | The Hub's President and CEO Margaret Loesch announced today the acquisition of two international hit series, the live-action "In the Night Garden" and the animated "Dennis and Gnasher," which will join a diverse lineup of Hub Original Series and U.S. Premiere program offerings previously announced by the network. These immensely popular series will premiere in the U.S. when the network launches on October 10 (10-10-10). The Hub is a joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc., and will be available to 60 million U.S. cable and satellite households upon launch.
