September 16, 2010 | From creator Paul Dini (Lost, Batman Beyond) and executive producer Glen Morgan (X-Files, Millennium, Final Destination) comes Tower Prep, Cartoon Network's new hour-long, live-action mystery. The series pilot was written by Dini and helmed by prolific television director Terry McDonough (The Gates, Breaking Bad). Tower Prep tells the story of Ian Archer - played by stand out up-and-comer Drew Van Acker - a budding hero who wakes up one morning to find himself at a mysterious academy for teens with special abilities.

September 14, 2010 | 4Kids Entertainment has secured the global theatrical, television and home entertainment rights (excluding Asia) to Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time, a special 3D animated film released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series created by Kazuki Takahashi, and will showcase the title to broadcasters at the upcoming MIPCOM 2010 market in Cannes.
- Nickelodeon’s TV Channels and Websites Go Dark for Seventh Annual Worldwide Day of Play Saturday, Sept. 25
September 14, 2010 | For the seventh straight year, Nickelodeon will empower kids to get up and get active when its TV channels and websites go off the air and offline during its Worldwide Day of Play (WWDP) on Saturday, Sept. 25 from 12 to 3 p.m. (all times ET/PT). Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, Nick Jr., TeenNick, Nick.com, NickJr.com, Nicktoons.com and TeenNick.com will participate. Additionally, for the first time in the history of the event, Nick stars will serve as hosts during the hours the network is on the air. They will share health and wellness messages and cover the activities at the flagship WWDP event in New York, the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of New York City RBC Race for the Kids.

Overall kids 6-11 delivery (710,000) increased by 65% and ratings (2.9) by 61%; kids 2-11 delivery (973,000) increased by 60% and ratings (2.3) by53%; and kids 9-14 delivery (519,000) increased by 51% and ratings (2.1) by 50%.
- iCarly’s “iSam’s Mom” Scores 6 Million Viewers, Nickelodeon Ranks #1 for the Week
September 14, 2010 | Nickelodeon's iCarly scored a ratings win with a tour de force guest starring role by Jane Lynch in "iSam's Mom" (Saturday, Sept. 11, at 8 p.m. ET/PT), which introduced fans to Pam Puckett, Sam's never-before-seen, eccentric mother. The half-hour episode ranked as basic cable's top entertainment telecast on Saturday night with total viewers (5.9 million) and also ranks as the number-one telecast with all kid and tween demos for the week. The premiere averaged a 7.5/2.7 million K2-11, a 10.0/2.2 million K6-11 and a 9.8/2.1 million T9-14.
