September 28, 2010 | On 10-10-10, U.S. audiences will get a first look at what The Hub, an all-new television network for kids and their families, has to offer. Debuting at 10 AM (ET), a special "Sneak Peek Sunday" will give viewers a preview of some of the new and entertaining programs they will see over the coming months. The Hub is a joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc., and will be available to 60 million U.S. cable and satellite households upon launch.

September 27, 2010 | Nickelodeon's newest rising teen star Victoria Justice (Victorious) will headline her first-ever television movie, The Boy Who Cried Werewolf, a teen comedy with a sci-fi twist premiering Saturday, Oct. 23, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). The original primetime movie follows Jordan Sands (Justice), a shy and unpopular teen who, through an accident, is transformed into a werewolf during a visit to Wolfsberg, Romania where her family has inherited an ancient castle. Brooke Shields (Lipstick Jungle) also stars as stern Romanian housekeeper Madame Varcolac, the longtime proprietor of the castle who is the only one privy to all of its peculiarities.

September 25, 2010 | We’re just about two weeks away from the launch of The Hub, the Discovery-Hasbro joint venture, which launches on October 10. TVGuide.com has posted the schedule for October 10 and some of October 11, but it’s still not official, as no episode titles are even being listed yet. However, we have now learned that two more series will be joining the network: Men in Black: The Series and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show.

- Cartoon Network Enterprises and Activision Partner to Release Interactive Game Based on “Generator Rex”
September 22, 2010 | Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE), the global licensing and merchandising arm of the television network, announced today that it has partnered with Activision Publishing, Inc., a leading worldwide developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment and leisure products, to create the first-ever interactive title for the hit action-adventure series, Generator Rex. The untitled game will be based on the series that stars Rex, a 15-year-old super agent who has the ability to grow incredible mechanical weapons and vehicles from his own body, and is scheduled to be released in North America in fall 2011 for the Wii(TM), PlayStation(R)3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360(R) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Nintendo DS(TM), and PSP(R) (PlayStation(R)Portable) system. This marks the first partnership between the two companies.
