August 10, 2010 | Across the second week of August 2010, Cartoon Network once again earned significant prime time delivery and ratings gains among its targeted kid demos, compared to the same time period in 2009. Across the week, kids 6-11 delivery (466,000) increased by 4% and ratings (1.9) by 6%, while kids 2-11 delivery (746,000) increased by 21% and ratings (1.8) by 20%.
- “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” Season 3 Premieres Friday, September 17 on Cartoon Network
August 10, 2010 | Building on the huge ratings win from last spring's second season finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Cartoon Network announced today it will premiere 22 all-new episodes for season three of the critically acclaimed CG-animated series from creator George Lucas and Lucasfilm Animation. The special, one-hour season three premiere event of Star Wars: The Clone Wars airs Friday, September 17, at 9 p.m. (et/pt).
- Disney Channel Premieres “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” on Friday, September 3
August 9, 2010 | The premiere of Disney’s exhilarating rock ‘n roll musical “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam,” starring Demi Lovato and Jonas Brothers, will be presented across Labor Day weekend with four event telecasts -– each celebrating music and dance with a storyline that suggests life is about the way you play. The fun for kids, tweens and families begins FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 and goes through MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT, each night) on Disney Channel. An extended edition of the movie, featuring two exclusive new music numbers, will be available on Disney Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD on Tuesday, September 7.

"Fred Figglehorn"), one of the most popular internet characters of all time, will land on Nickelodeon in his first-ever film, Fred: The Movie, premiering Friday, Sept. 17, at 8:00 P.M. (ET/PT). Similar to real-life teenager Lucas Cruikshank's fast-talking, hyperactive videos that have received upwards of 530 million views, the film will center on Fred's biggest adventure yet in trying to win over his unrequited love, Judy.

- The Hub Adds “Clue” to List of Original Series
August 6, 2010 | CLUE, the iconic family-favorite board game, will come to The Hub as an original, half-hour live-action series, it was announced today by Margaret Loesch, President and CEO of the new network for kids and their families, which launches October 10 (10-10-10). The series, which will feature a youthful, ensemble cast (to be announced) working together to uncover clues and unravel mysteries, will be produced by Hasbro Studios.

August 4, 2010 | Nickelodeon has named Keith Dawkins Senior Vice President, General Manager of Nicktoons and TeenNick. In his newly expanded role, Dawkins will add oversight of TeenNick, Nickelodeon’s 24-hour network for teens, to his current role as GM of Nicktoons. Dawkins will run the day-to-day operations for the teen network, including the on-air programming, scheduling and marketing, and will work with MTV Networks’ Affiliate Sales organization on the channel’s distribution rollout. The announcement was made today by Sarah Levy, Chief Operating Officer, Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group, to whom he will continue to report.

August 3, 2010 | Throughout the first week of August 2010, Cartoon Network scored across-the-board prime time delivery and ratings gains among its targeted kid demos, including double-digit increases among kids 6-11 and kids 2-11. Compared to the same time period last year, prime time kids 6-11 delivery (485,000) and ratings (2.0) increased by 11%; kids 2-11 delivery (770,000) increased by 30% and ratings (1.9) by 36%; and kids 9-14 delivery (336,000) increased by 3% and ratings (1.4) by 8%.
