- Disney Channel and Disney XD Get Into the Holiday Spirit Starting November 28
October 29, 2010 | Disney Channel and Disney XD spread the holiday cheer with all new seasonal episodes of “Sonny with a Chance,” “The Suite Life on Deck,” “Phineas and Ferb,” “Zeke and Luther,” “Handy Manny” and “Special Agent Oso” beginning SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 28. The season includes Joe Jonas guest starring in a new special, “So Random!,” based on the sketch comedy show seen in the hit series “Sonny with a Chance,” and a multi-platform presentation of the holiday classic in the making, “Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation” (in an extended edition), on Disney Channel, Disney XD, ABC Family and the ABC Television Network. Last year the premiere of “Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation” set all-time high ratings records for Disney XD, delivering 2.88 million Total Viewers and series ratings highs on Disney Channel, where it delivered 5.21 million Total Viewers.
- Cartoon Network Partners with Random House for “Generator Rex” Books
October 28, 2010 | Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE), the global licensing and merchandising arm of the television network, announced today a partnership with Random House Children's Books to create a full line of books based on the top-rated action-adventure series, Generator Rex. The deal between the two companies builds on a long-standing partnership with Random House, Inc. that includes other popular Cartoon Network brands including Ben 10 and Bakugan (Del Ray Manga). The Random House Children's Books program will bring to market content-rich titles centered around Rex, a 15-year-old typical teenager with abnormal powers - including the ability to make his fists the size of boulders, sprout a jet pack out of his back and turn his legs into a lightning-fast motorcycle, among other talents. Random House will launch their book program in Summer 2011 with a Step into Reading(R) leveled reader and a deluxe 3-D storybook. Additional readers, storybooks, and activity books will follow.
- The Hub’s New Series “Hubworld” Premieres Friday, November 5
October 28, 2010 | The Hub, a TV network for kids and their families, announced today the premiere of the original series “Hubworld,” a new weekly, half-hour pop culture series, on Friday, November 5 (6:30 p.m. ET). The series host is Justin Willman star of the cable television show “Cupcake Wars.” The series is produced by Hasbro Studios in association with Natural 9 Entertainment.
- The Hub Presents Five-Day Mini-Series Event for “Transformers: Prime”
October 28, 2010 | Fans of the enormously popular Transformers action-adventure entertainment franchise will revel in the upcoming television event on The Hub cable network - a five-part original mini-series, Monday-Friday, November 29 - December 3, showcasing "Transformers: Prime," a new CGI-animated television series coming to the network. The Hub, a TV network for kids and their families, is a joint venture of Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc., and is available to 60 million U.S. cable and satellite households.
- TeenNick Adds “Malcolm in the Middle” This November

October 26, 2010 | Cartoon Network’s Monday night block of comedy animation (7-10 p.m.) continued to rank #1 among boys 6-11 demos compared to its competition, and scored significant gains vs. the same 2009 time period. Overall, kids 6-11 average delivery (748,000) grew by 13% and ratings (3.0) by 11%; kids 2-11 delivery (1,081,000) grew by 7% and ratings (2.6) by 4%; and kids 9-14 delivery (571,000) grew by 26% and ratings (2.3) by 21%.

In Prime, the channel registered its 286th consecutive weekly win among Kids 6-11 (982,000/4.0 rating) and placed No. 1 for the 283rd time in the prior 286 weeks among Tweens 9-14 (847,000/3.5 rating).

October 26, 2010 | Nickelodeon notched another ratings win with the premiere of The Boy Who Cried Werewolf (Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, 8 p.m. ET/PT), a teen comedy with a sci-fi twist, starring Victoria Justice (Victorious) in her first-ever headlining TV movie role and Brooke Shields (Lipstick Jungle) as a stern Romanian housekeeper. The two-hour Halloween-themed movie ranked as basic cable’s top telecast for the night, drawing 5.8 million total viewers, and topped broadcast and basic cable with kids and tweens for the week, posting high triple-digit gains with all key demos, and averaging a 10.5/2.3 million K6-11 (+163%), 9.3/2.0 million T9-14 (+182%) and 8.2/2.9 million K2-11 (+165%).
