Delivering the week’s Top 6 live-action TV telecasts, and 17 of the Top 20 overall in the genre, Disney Channel stood as TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day for the 22nd consecutive week among Tweens 9-14 (531,000/2.2 rating), surpassing No. 2 Nickelodeon by a solid 20% (vs. 442,000).
In Prime, Disney Channel extended its streak as cable’s No. 1 network to 289 consecutive weeks among Kids 6-11 (1.1 million/4.5 rating) and was No. 1 for the 286th time in the previous 289 weeks among Tweens 9-14 (1.0 million/4.1 rating).
- “Shake It Up” (Sun., 8:30 – 9:00 p.m.) stood as TV’s No. 1 telecast among Tweens 9-14 (1.8 million/7.4 rating) and TV’s No. 1 live-action telecast among Kids 6-11 (1.8 million/7.2 rating).
- The debut of original movie “Avalon High” (Fri., 8:00 – 9:45 p.m.) qualified as the week’s No. 1 TV movie among Kids 6-11 (1.5 million/6.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.5 million/6.1 rating), ranking a dominant No. 1 in its time period across all television.
- Friday’s season premiere of “Wizards of Waverly Place” (9:45 – 10:15 p.m.) ranked as the show’s most-watched season debut in Tweens 9-14 (1.702 million), standing as the week’s No. 2 live-action TV telecast in the target demo, behind “Shake It Up”
- For the 2nd week in a row, a “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” telecast was the week’s No. 1 preschool telecast among Kids 2-5 (967,000/5.7 rating, Sat., 8:30 – 8:55 a.m.).
- In addition, this marked the 7th consecutive week a “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” telecast ranked as the week’s No. 1 weekend preschool TV telecast among Kids 2-5.
