The new CGI animated series Babar and the Adventures of Badou premieres in YTV’s Playtime block
YTV presents new episodes, new specials and new movies of viewers’ favourite titles for an entire month this “New”vember
(Toronto, Canada) Must-see series, specials and movies are coming to Corus Entertainment’s kids networks this November with the YTV premieres of the new CGI animated series Babar and the Adventures of Badou, Season 2 of How to be Indie starring the Gemini nominated lead Melinda Shankar, and the blockbuster hit Kung Fu Panda starring Jack Black.

BABAR AND THE ADVENTURES OF BADOU – SERIES PREMIERE
A new CGI animated series produced by Nelvana Studio and TeamTO, Babar and the Adventures of Badou follows eight-year-old Badou and his famous grandfather Babar. Scheduled in YTV’s Playtime block, Badou has an appetite for adventure and a tendency to get caught in some tricky situations along with his colourful friends Chiku the monkey and Zawadi, the zebra. Navigating the ups and downs of growing up in Celesteville’s royal palace, Badou never forgets that King Babar will always be there to offer guidance and support. A graduating step from Treehouse to YTV, this series premieres on Monday, November 22 at 11 a.m. on YTV.
HOW TO BE INDIE – SEASON 2
Tired of her sibling’s hand me downs and her evil cousin Ruby’s teasing, Indie, played by Gemini nominated Melinda Shankar (Degrassi: The Next Generation) sets out to own something with a label. But scoring a pair of expensive designer sneakers proves more complicated than she thought. When Dre, the new hire at Abi’s restaurant gets involved, things go from bad to bad dancing. Luckily, Indie’s got a one of a kind solution to all of her problems. Season 2 kicks off in the show’s regular timeslot on Thursday, November 4 at 6:30 p.m.
AN EVENING WITH MIRANDA COSGROVE
YTV is dedicating an entire evening to its favourite tween queen, Miranda Cosgrove on Friday, November 26. The night will kick off at 6 p.m. with back-to-back episodes of the Emmy® nominated hit show iCarly followed by Miranda’s big screen debut in School of Rock starring comedian Jack Black at 8 p.m. Premiere episodes include:

Viewers won’t want to miss this premiere episode featuring never-before-seen bloopers and outtakes from iCarly’s entire run. iCarly: iBloop premieres on Friday, November 26 at 6 p.m.

Spencer tries to surprise Carly for her birthday but ends up burning down her bedroom instead. When the insurance company hands him a big check, Spencer has a chance to make it up to his sister. iCarly: iGot a Hot Room premieres on Friday, November 26 at 6:30 p.m.
iCARLY: iPSYCHO – PREMIERE
On route to a web conference, the gang decides to help a lonely fan on her birthday. When the party is over, the fan refuses to let them leave. Meanwhile, Spencer gets Gibby to help with some home repairs. Attempting to break free from the crazy fan’s house, the gang sends a coded message to Gibby for help. Refusing to do any more work for Spencer, Gibby decodes the message and storms off to save the day. iCarly: iPsycho premieres on Friday, November 26 at 7 p.m.
ACTRESS JANE LYNCH ON iCARLY: iSAM’S MOM
After fighting with her mom (played by Glee’s Jane Lynch), Sam moves in with Carly, who soon realizes she is a horrible guest. Freddie is stalked by a dangerous criminal after catching him on video committing a crime. iCarly: iSam’s Mom premieres on Friday, November 5 at 6 p.m. The evening continues with more Jane Lynch as she stars alongside Selena Gomez in the YTV premiere of Another Cinderella Story at 7 p.m.

The event will come to a close on Sunday, November 21 at 8 p.m. with the 90-minute special Drake & Josh Go Hollywood.
