Powered by the premiere of the channel’s 79th original movie “Den Brother,” Disney Channel stood as Friday’s No. 1 TV  network for the entire day in Kids 6-11 (922,000/3.8 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (775,000/3.2 rating).

  • Led by “Den Brother,” Disney Channel delivered 9 of Friday’s Top 10 TV telecasts for the entire day in Kids 6-11, and 8 of the Top 10 in Tweens 9-14.
  • In Prime, Disney Channel easily ranked as the No. 1 TV network in Kids 6-11 (1.28 million/5.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.15 million/4.7 rating). In Total Viewers, Disney Channel was Friday’s No. 1 cable network (3.16 million), overshadowing runner-up USA (2.16 million) by a considerable 46%.

In its debut, “Den Brother,” starring Hutch Dano (Disney XD’s “Zeke and Luther”) and G. Hannelius (Disney Channel’s “Sonny With A Chance”), dominated TV’s landscape on Friday, standing as TV’s No. 1 telecast on Friday in Kids 6-11 (1.52 million/6.2 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.45 million/5.9 rating), and cable’s most-watched telecast in Total Viewers (3.75 million).

In Total Viewers, “Den Brother,” the No. 1 cable telecast of the day, placed an impressive No. 6 among all of Friday’s TV programs.

  • Peaking in its final quarter-hour across its core audience, “Den Brother” grew its audience start to finish by double-digit percentages in Total Viewers (40%; 3.08 million to 4.30 million), Kids 6-11 (61%, 1.18 million to 1.90 million) and Tweens 9-14 (55%, 1.10 to 1.70 million).
