- Disney Channel’s season premiere of “JONAS L.A.” ranked as TV’s No. 1 series for the week in Kids 6-11 (1.3 million/5.1 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.2 million/4.8 rating), and cable’s No. 1 entertainment series in Total Viewers (3.3 million). The new season features new Jonas Brothers music, a new Southern California setting and a new serialized comedy format mark. It stars pop culture superstars Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas, Chelsea Staub and Nicole Anderson.
- On Sunday, an original “Sonny With a Chance” posted the show’s best numbers in more 3 months (since 3/14/10) in Total Viewers (3.8 million) and Tweens 9-14 (1.4 million/5.7 rating), standing as its 2nd-most-watched telecast of the season in both demos. Sunday’s episode of “Sonny” ranked as the show’s third best of the season in Kids 6-11 (1.4 million/5.8 rating), marking its highest ratings since 3/21/10.
- At 8 o’clock, the combination of “Sonny With a Chance” and “JONAS L.A.” were dominant winners in the hour in key kids demos, overshadowing runner-up Nick-at-Nite’s “Victorious” and “Big Time Rush” by 30% in Kids 6-11 (1.3 million vs. 1.0 million) and by 67% in Tweens 9-14 (1.3 million vs. 762,000).
- Boasting 4 of the week’s Top 5 telecasts in Kids 6-11 and 9 of the Top 10 in Tweens 9-14, Disney Channel was TV’s No. 1 network in Prime in Kids 6-11 (1.1 million/4.4 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (905,000/3.7 rating), marking the net’s 268th consecutive win in Kids 6-11. Furthermore, Disney Channel was TV’s No. 1 network in Total Day in Tweens 9-14 (629,000/2.6 rating).
