[via press release]

Boomerang Takes Viewers to Prehistoric Times with DINK, THE LITTLE DINOSAUR

Animated Classic to Join Boomerang Line-up at 9 a.m. Starting Monday, March 10

Boomerang introduces its audiences to an adventuresome little brontosaurus, DINK, THE LITTLE DINOSAUR, beginning Monday, March 10.  The classic series will air Monday through Friday at 9 a.m. (ET) and will feature the self-assured, sometimes scheming young dinosaur who rallies his group of friends around him in a never-ending quest for fun, adventure and discovery.  As with all Boomerang presentations, the series will air commercial-free on the classic animation network.

Join the journey as Dink roams the earth, discovering new and beautiful places of wonder and awe.  Showered by meteor storms, scorched by volcanoes, and shaken by earthquakes, Dink learns that survival is an everyday adventure.  Often accompanied by Crusty, a wise old turtle, Dink and his friends learn lessons about tolerance, prejudice, and cooperation.  A Ruby-Spears Production, DINK, THE LITTLE DINOSAUR premiered on CBS, September 2, 1989.

“Boomerang is happy to welcome DINK, THE LITTLE DINOSAUR to the Boomerang Line-up,” said Rico Hill, vice president of programming for Cartoon Network and Boomerang.  “Parents and children alike will be delighted with his spirit and love of life.”
