Cartoon Network Schedules “Camp Lazlo” Movie for February 18

[via press release]

The Monkey Hits the Road in “Where’s Lazlo?”

Premiere of Camp Lazlo’s First Feature Movie on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. (ET, PT)

Camp Lazlo explores what life was like as a bean scout at Camp Kidney before an optimistic Brazilian monkey named Lazlo came to camp in the premiere of its first ever one-hour Cartoon Network Studios original movie, “Where’s Lazlo?,” on Sunday, Feb. 18.  To get ready for the journey, brand new episodes will air every Friday at 7 p.m. in February and a marathon featuring favorite episodes of Lazlo, Raj, Clam and Scoutmaster Lumpus lead up to the adventure on Sunday, Feb. 18, beginning at 9 a.m. (ET, PT).  Then hit the road with Lazlo with the premiere of “Where’s Lazlo?,” at 7 p.m. (ET, PT) on Cartoon Network.

When Lazlo helps a big scary bear remove a pinecone from his nose he sets into motion a series of events that will change the lives of the bean scouts forever.  It’s not just a journey of self-discovery — it’s a journey of self-discovery including a runaway train car, a freaked out Indian elephant, a barely intelligible pygmy rhino and a certain busboy at a restaurant that serves nothing but beef.  While Lazlo is on his journey, a nostalgic Raj and Clam recall life at camp before and after Lazlo arrived.  Through flashbacks, we see how what had once been a dreary existence for the Bean Scouts of Camp Kidney was drastically altered with the mere arrival of our favorite little monkey.
