The Nighttime Network for Teens Kicks Off the ‘I Heart Love’ Marathon Along with the Season Two Premiere of Instant Star – Friday, February 10

NEW YORK, Feb. 1 – No date on Valentine’s Day? Turn to The N, the nighttime network for teens, on-air and online for all the romance you can handle. Create the perfect date, or steal someone else’s with “The Hook- Up,” The N’s most ambitious interactive online game to date, launching Friday, February 10. Then tune in to The N for the “I Heart Love” Marathon, a series of mini-marathons that feature the network’s most bodacious beaus — enough to last all weekend long — beginning Friday, February 10 at 6:00 p.m. (ET) through Monday, February 13 at 6:00 a.m. (ET). The second season of Instant Star will premiere during the “I Heart Love” Marathon on Friday, February 10 at 8:30 p.m. (ET).

Nice girls finish last in “The Hook-Up,” The N’s new interactive online game of charm, treachery and deceit made exclusively for http://www.the-n.com/. The player is placed in the role of the new girl in town, and forced to navigate a complex social web in order to establish her place, and find love along the way. It won’t be easy though, as she’ll need to use secrets, gossip, and sometimes downright lies to get what she wants.

“Our teen audience is watching, playing and engaging with media brands more fluidly than ever before, and ‘The Hook-Up’ represents the first of many new multiplatform programming initiatives we are creating at The N to meet this growing demand,” said Kenny Miller, VP, Production and Programming.

The N’s “I Heart Love” Marathon includes mini-marathons of episodes that feature hotties from many of the network’s most popular fare, including Instant Star, South of Nowhere, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Moesha.

Season two of Instant Star premieres during the “I Heart Love” Marathon on Friday, February 10 at 8:30 p.m. (ET). In the premiere episode, “No Sleep Til Brooklyn, Part 1” Jude is back from her summer tour with her band Spiederman Mind Explosion (SME) only to come home and discover that her once-beloved record label, G Major, has changed its business tactics. With the music label now being helmed by media mogul Darius Mills, the fur flies when Jude doesn’t play by his rules at a music showcase. Meanwhile, her producer Tommy is having a hard time juggling Darius’ needs and his girlfriend Sadie who just returned from Europe.
