September is The Month of Movie Premieres on The N
Feature Films Include Clueless and a “Brad Who?” Weekend Starring Jennifer Aniston in Picture Perfect and The Object of My Affection
NEW YORK, Aug. 29 — The N, the nighttime network for teens, will premiere three feature films during the month of September beginning with the “Brad Who?” Movie Weekend, on Friday, September 2 at 8 p.m. ET followed by the motion picture Clueless on Saturday, September 17 at 8 p.m. ET.
The “Brad Who?” Movie Weekend will feature Picture Perfect immediately followed by The Object of My Affection, both starring Jennifer Aniston. The movies will premiere on Friday night, and will encore throughout the weekend.
Later in the month, The N will premiere the feature film Clueless. The Clueless television series, which was based on the movie, has aired on The N, but this marks the motion picture premiere.
Find the following descriptions of the three feature films:
* Picture Perfect
Never able to develop a successful relationship, Kate Mosley (Jennifer Aniston) nonetheless is attracted to the office Romeo, Sam (Kevin Bacon), who isn’t interested in her. Things change, however, when her co-worker makes up a story about Kate’s fictitious, long-distance engagement. Kate then hires actor Nick (Jay Mohr) to play the part, and her plan is picture perfect until Nick falls for her. Then she must deal with her relationships with both Sam and Nick.
* The Object of My Affection
George (Paul Rudd) and Nina (Jennifer Aniston) seem like the perfect couple, but there’s only one hitch: George is gay. And when Nina announces she’s pregnant, things get especially complicated. Nina’s overbearing boyfriend (and the baby’s father) wants marriage, but Nina wants independence. George will do anything for a little unqualified affection, but is he ready to become an unwed surrogate dad?
* Clueless
Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone), a high school student in Beverly Hills, may seem superficial at first, but underneath it all she is a charming and intelligent girl with a great wardrobe. As two of the most popular sophomores in school, she and best friend Dionne take “clueless” transfer student Tai under their ever-fashionable wings.
