“NOGGIN’S Move To The Music” will help support the network’s ongoing commitment to preschool music. The new music videos will join NOGGIN’s regular rotation and will continue to run interstitially between the network’s half-hour preschool series.

“NOGGIN’s Move To The Music” is designed to support music as a universally respected component of early childhood education. From the Connected Learning philosophy, an effective music video will engage young viewers in the performance and support their rising awareness of the components of art — enabling them to make and appreciate music throughout their lives. Effective early childhood music videos, including those by Lisa Loeb, Laurie Berkner and Dan Zanes, will strengthen preschoolers understanding of music elements including rhythm, pitch, volume and pattern. By coordinating the visual and musical aspects of a recorded performance, the music videos on NOGGIN are crafted to address these goals.

NOGGIN is the commercial-free, educational network for preschoolers owned by Nickelodeon. NOGGIN currently reaches 43 million households via cable, digital cable and satellite tv. NOGGIN, which airs from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (ET), is like preschool on tv, with educational programming both on-air and online at www.noggin.com.
