Kids’ WB!’s First Live-Action Movie “Zolar” Set To Premiere May 29 During “Kids’ WB!’s Feature Feature Saturday” Morning Line-Up

(May 20, 2004 – Burbank, CA) – Kids’ WB!, the #1 broadcast network for kids, will debut its first original live-action movie “Zolar” on Saturday, May 29 (10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. ET / 9:00-11:00 a.m. PT). (Editor’s Note: Movie premiere date has changed from previous announcement.) Viewers also will have the chance to win one of 200 Blockbuster movie packages during the “Kids’ WB! Feature Feature Sweepstakes.”

“Zolar,” from Insight Film & Video/Shavick Entertainment and executive producer Barry L. Levy in association with Regent Worldwide Sales, follows the action-packed, adrenaline-pumping adventure of three semi-pro action sports athletes who discover their newest team member is really “out of this world” and they must protect him from evil extraterrestrials attempting to steal his powerful alien life force. This movie will have special cameos by some of today’s biggest action sports stars, including Mike Metzger, X-Games Gold and Silver Medallist for Motocross, Big Air, Freestyle and Best Trick competitions, as well as ESPN TV Personality and professional skateboarder Jason Ellis.

To kick-off the summer and celebrate the premiere of “Zolar, “Kids’ WB! and Blockbuster are joining forces for the “Kids’ WB! Feature Feature Sweepstakes.” Kids will need to tune-in on Saturday, May 29 and watch the premiere of “Zolar” (10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. ET / 9:00-11:00 a.m. PT) for their chance to win one of 200 BLOCKBUSTER Night™ Cards, which is good for two movie rentals, a tub of microwave popcorn and a 2L Coca-Cola® beverage.
