The N to Feature ‘Old School’ Moments From the Classic 80s Series, Degrassi Junior High

NEW YORK, Aug. 19 — The N, the nighttime network for teens, will offer a crash course in Degrassi: The Next Generation, with a four-night countdown of the most compelling moments in the dramatic show’s history.

Hosted by eight Degrassi stars from the ensemble cast, The N will premiere Degrassi Crash Course: The 100 Most Intense Moments on Friday, September 5 at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). A new installment will premiere every Friday night in September from 8:00 – 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on The N.

Each half-hour episode will be hosted by two Degrassi cast members from the gang’s favorite new after-school hangout, The Dot. In addition to counting down Degrassi’s juiciest scenes, viewers will get a sneak peek into the intense new characters and situations from the upcoming third season, which will debut on October 3. This preview will include a behind-the-scenes table read and photo shoot with the cast, a visit with the wardrobe department and a tour of some of the new sets on season three. Degrassi Crash Course: The 100 Most Intense Moments will also feature “old school” moments from the classic 80s series, Degrassi Junior High, featuring the angst-ridden teens who grew up to be the parents and teachers of the current Degrassi class.

The following is a rundown of Degrassi Crash Course: The 100 Most Intense Moments:

* Friday, September 5, 8:00 – 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), Part I – “Intense Kisses & Disses” and “Intensely Gross Moments” hosted by Lauren Collins (“Paige”) and Ryan Cooley (“J.T.”)

* Friday, September 12, 8:00 – 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), Part II – “Intense Fights & Fashion” and “Intense Shocks & Revelations” hosted by Miriam McDonald (“Emma”) and Cassie Steele (“Manny”)

* Friday, September 19, 8:00 – 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), Part III – “Intensely Bold Moves, Intensely Bad Moves” & “Intensely Embarrassing Moments” hosted by Aubrey Graham (“Jimmy”) and Shane Keppet (“Spinner”)

* Friday, September 26, 8:00 – 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), Part IV- “Top 10 Most Intense Moments” hosted by Jake Epstein (“Craig”) and Melissa McIntyre (“Ashley”)
