X Marks The Spot August 2 On Kids’ WB! When “X-Men: Evolution” X-Plodes Onto Saturday Mornings

(July 13, 2003 – Burbank, CA) – Kids’ WB! is X-cited for the return of the high-adventure series “X-Men: Evolution” with all-original episodes on Saturday mornings, premiering Saturday, August 2, at 10:30 a.m. ET.

In the X-hilarating premiere episode entitled “X23,” Wolverine discovers that his DNA has been used to create a new Weapon X – a 14-year-old mutant girl! Having experienced a traumatic childhood and a past shrouded in mystery like her genetic donor, she’s volatile and dangerous. Infiltrating Xavier Institute, she begins to immobilize the X-Men one by one – and lies in wait for Wolverine.

As the compelling third season continues, the X-Men and all other mutants have been exposed to the world – and now must deal with mixed public reaction, prejudice and intolerance from their peers … all while an ancient creature threatens to destroy the delicate balance of co-existence between humans and mutants. Based on one of the world’s most popular Marvel comic book series, the all-original animated series “X-Men: Evolution” is produced by Marvel Studios in association with Film Roman.

Building up to the X-plosive return of the hit series, “X-Men: Evolution” will air an X-traordinary “must see” week of episodes, July 28-August 1 (except Wednesday), in the 3:00 p.m. ET time period as viewers check-in and gear-up for the highly-anticipated “X-Men: Evolution.”
