Kids’ WB! Honored With Seven Daytime Emmy Nominations
(March 13, 2002 – Burbank, CA) — Kids’ WB! received seven Daytime Emmy nominations for the 29th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, it was announced today at a ceremony in New York City. Leading the Saturday morning broadcast competition with the most nominations for the 2001 television season, “Jackie Chan Adventures,” “The Nightmare Room,” “The Zeta Project,” “Batman Beyond” and “Men in Black: The Series” were selected for outstanding achievement with the presentation of the awards scheduled for Friday, May 17 (9:00-11:00 p.m. ET).
International action hero Jackie Chan and “Jackie Chan Adventures” topped the list with three nominations and the other four series each received one nomination. This is the first-time that “The Nightmare Room” and “The Zeta Project” have received Emmy honors.
