Kids’ WB! Presents Thrilling Reality Game Show Episode For New Live-Action Series “The Nightmare Room”

(October 4, 2001 – Burbank, CA) — Why go to Africa and eat bugs when you can visit Tranquility Island on Kids’ WB! where the line between reality and illusion is blurred…where nightmares just might be real! “The Nightmare Room” introduces a thrilling reality game show in which contestants compete for their lives in an all-new episode on Saturday, October 13 at 11:00 a.m. ET/10:00 a.m. PT.

Offering its unique view of reality-based programming, “The Nightmare Room” takes a chilling new look at the competitive games in the adrenaline-pumping episode “Fear Games,” starring Lindsay Marie Felton (“Caitlin’s Way”), Eric “Ty” Hodges (“Even Stevens”), Roger Lodge (host of “Blind Date”) and screen legend Tippi Hedren (“The Birds”). The episode features five teenagers participating in an intense “Survivor”-esque reality show, in which they compete for a grand prize of $500,000 on a tropical island – haunted by a cursed witch (Hedren). The witch has her own game to play as she seeks revenge on the descendant of the person who banished her to the island for eternity. The rules are non-existent as the challenges become more real…and more terrifying. Now, these strangers, who were set against each other, must work together to face their fears and the witch.
