Kids’ WB Schedules New Series “The Zeta Project”

Kids’ WB! Takes On Its Newest Mission With Debut Of Highly Anticipated Animated Series “The Zeta Project”

(January 10, 2001 – Burbank, CA) – Kids’ WB! will bring its newest mission to Saturday mornings with the debut of the new high-adventure animated series “The Zeta Project” on Saturday, January 27 (10:30 a.m. ET/ 9:30 a.m. PT). To prepare for this newest venture, the network will revise its weekday and Saturday morning line-ups, featuring more adventure and comedy.

Beginning Monday, January 15, “Max Steel” will move from its Monday 3:30 p.m. time period to bring high-intensity and adrenaline-pumping adventures to its new 7:30 a.m. time period on Fraturdays (Fridays). “Batman Beyond” will move into the Monday 3:30 p.m. time slot. The Japanese anime-adventure series “Cardcaptors” will begin airing exclusively on Fraturdays at 4:30 p.m. as of Friday, January 19.

On Saturday, January 20, a special Saturday of high-adventure and heroism paves the way for Kids’ WB!’s new revised schedule. “Max Steel” moves to its new 8:00 a.m. ET time slot and jump-starts the Saturday morning line-up “turbo style” and “Batman Beyond” protects Gotham City in its new 11:30 a.m. ET time period. “X-Men: Evolution” teams up for more mutant mysteries in its new Saturday morning time period at 9:30 a.m. ET and will air an additional episode at 10:30 a.m. ET this Saturday only. “Pokémon: The Johto Journeys” will air two original episodes at 8:30 a.m. ET and 10:00 a.m. ET.

Beginning January 27 (10:30 a.m. ET), don’t miss the chance to join the futuristic adventures of Zeta, a renegade government-designed robot, and Ro, his 15-year-old street-wise companion – who are fugitives on the run from a government that doesn’t understand them. With his awesome gadgetry and moral conviction coupled with her street smarts and humor, Zeta and Ro are on the road and on the run in 2040, helping each other and those they meet along the way. The series will follow these unlikely allies on adventurous and heartfelt escapades.
