“We are thrilled to be announcing our further commitment to ‘Jackie Chan Adventures’ for Fall 2001,” stated Ms. Friedman. “It is our great confidence in Jackie Chan and the creative team at Sony Pictures Family Entertainment, as well as the amazing response we have received from kids, that motivated us to strip the series so quickly. We are excited to be giving kids what they’ve asked for – ‘Jackie Chan Adventures,’ six days a week.”

“We’re thrilled that Kids’ WB! is as excited as we are about Jackie Chan and launching ‘Jackie Chan Adventures’ into a 52 episode strip series for next season,” said Sander Schwartz, President, Sony Pictures Family Entertainment Group. “Given the show’s strong performance this season, increasing momentum and popularity, we’re excited to showcase more of Jackie’s magnetic persona in this animated series,” he added.

“JACKIE CHAN ADVENTURES” celebrates Chinese culture as animated Jackie, an ancient artifact expert and a special agent for the government’s secret Section 13, shares ancient Chinese wisdom with his feisty 11-year-old niece, Jade, who quickly becomes his apprentice and partner in adventure. The series follows Jackie and Jade as they embark on a global quest to recover 12 magical talismans.
