Nick.com updates to bare-bones website: videos, games gone
Nick.com has received a new update today. Gone is pretty much everything that was once on the website.
The once must-visit, top-rated kids website has removed all videos (including full episodes and clips), online games, and all other various activities. The only improvement is a new TV schedule page that lets you view schedules for two weeks (instead of two days).
All “shows” pages, the “games” and “apps” pages are simply outbound links to download the Nick app on various devices and to download app games. No games or videos are available on the website itself.
This update essentially makes Nick.com nothing but a landing-page for you to download apps for your phone.
DisneyChannel.com, DisneyXD.com and DisneyJunior.com have all redirected to DisneyNOW.com this year. However, the DisneyNOW website still allows you to view videos on their website. CartoonNetwork.com and NickJr.com remain the only major kids websites with videos and games still intact. But for how long? Goodbye websites!
