Nick Takes Week’s Top Spot with Kids and Total Viewers
NEW YORK–March 5, 2013–Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants closed the week (2/25/13-3/3/13) as the number one program with kids 2-11, kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14 across all TV. A new episode titled “Little Yellow Book” (Saturday, March 2 at 10:30 a.m. ET/PT) drew 4.7 million total viewers, and posted double-digit gains with kids 2-11 (7.5/2.5 million, +21%), kids 6-11 (8.3/1.7 million, +29%), tweens 9-14 (6.1/1.2 million, +29%) and total viewers (+15%).
Additionally, Nickelodeon ranks as basic cable’s top net with kids 2-11 (2.9/950,000; +16%) and total viewers (1.8 million; +13%) for the week.
